Bir Lachit Borphukan College gets B+ grade in Sivasagar

GAURISAGAR: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Bir Lachit Borphukan College in the Sivasagar district with B+ Grade on Wednesday.

The NAAC peer team visited the college on March 27 and March 28 and took stock of all academic and allied aspects of the college. The NAAC peer team convened a meeting with the college principal and heads of departments and visited and inspected the departments. The team also interacted with the teachers, students, parents and alumni.

All the stakeholders of the college wholeheartedly participated in the two days’ assessment process. The Principal of the college, Dipali Neog, IQAC coordinator Chandra Jyoti Baruah and Dr Khageswar Das, president of the governing body of the college, expressed their gratitude to all concerned for their goodwill and cooperation during the process of the assessment.
