Bir Raghav Moran Divas observed at Doomdooma
Under the auspices of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Government of Assam, and with active co-operation of Sadou Moran Sabha and other Moran ethnic organizations, Bir Raghav Moran Divas and Bir Raghav Moran award-giving ceremony were observed at Talap Dhulijan at the Bhupen Hazarika open auditorium at Raja Ramakanta Sammanya Kshetra with a day-long programme on Friday.

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Government of Assam, and with active co-operation of Sadou Moran Sabha and other Moran ethnic organizations, Bir Raghav Moran Divas and Bir Raghav Moran award-giving ceremony were observed at Talap Dhulijan at the Bhupen Hazarika open auditorium at Raja Ramakanta Sammanya Kshetra with a day-long programme on Friday.
After inauguration of the Samannyya Kshetra, flag hoisting, tribute paying, religious programme and tree plantation, a colourful procession was taken out. The open auditorium was inaugurated by former president of All Moran Students' Union (AMSU) Arun Jyoti Moran. The programme, which was attended by thousands of people belonging to the Moran community, was also attended by MLA of Sadiya constituency Bolin Chetia and leaders of different student bodies.
The Moran student bodies expressed disappointment at not giving away the award to Dr Upen Rabha Hakasam selected for the award by the State Government in today's function.
