Biswanath College gets citation as member of United Nations Academic Impact

Biswanath Chariali: Biswanath College has been able to get recognition as member of United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) which has created an atmosphere of jubilation amongst the stakeholders.

The news was stated before the media persons in a press meet convened by Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the college, in the presence of Kukil Hazarika, the president of the governing body of the college. The college will henceforth join hands with UNAI to value its commitment towards ten principles viz. human rights, educational opportunity for all, sustainability, capacity building in higher education, global citizenship, peace and conflict resolution, addressing poverty, higher education opportunity for every individual and the unlearning of intolerance.

The institutional innovation council of Biswanath College has also received recognition as member of Innovation Cell, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, for the academic year 2019-20. The college has been trying to impart quality education since its inception.
