Biswanath College joins hands with Assam Startup-The Nest

BISWANATH CHARIALI/JAMUGURIHAT: An event entitled 'Ideathon' was organized on Wednesday at Biswanath College. The event was organized by 'Assam Startup-The Nest' in association with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, reached Biswanath College Business Incubation Centre on Wednesday. Biswanath College is an active partner in this venture for infusing a sense of innovation and entrepreneurship to its students.

Thirty-five students pitched their innovative ideas in a jury headed by Hemanta Kumar Bora, Chief Investment Officer of 'Assam Startup-Nest'.The other members in the panel consisted of Dr Karabi Gogoi and Dr Pulak Sabhapandit. Dr. Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the college, inaugurated the session and urged students to come out and pave a way towards entrepreneurship with innovative ideas. He assured that the college would always render its helping hand to 'Assam Startup-The Nest' in future endeavors and sought active cooperation from this organization.
