Biswanath district bags 'Best Performance' Award for Poshan Maah

Biswanath Chariali: The Social Welfare Department has presented Biswanath district the “Best Performance” award for showing outstanding performance in conducting community-based events during the Poshan Maah, 2019 in the State. The award was presented by the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at a function held at Srimanta Shankerdev Kalakshetra, Guwahati on Saturday. Ananya Lahkar, Assistant Commissioner of Biswanath district received the award on behalf of the district administration. The award comprises a citation and a cheque of Rs 50,000.
