Biswanath youth Snehankar Chakraborty rides for scribes' social security

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Snehankar Chakraborty, a youth from Biswanath Chariali who had made an extraordinary journey on a bicycle to create awareness among the public about social security of journalists, was accorded warm welcome on Monday under the aegis of Biswanath District Bartajeevi Sangha at Biswanath Chariali.

Starting from Biswanath Chariali, the youth rode for about 1,000 kilometres on a bicycle to come back via Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Tinsukia, DhalaSadia, Jorhat, Kaliabar and Kolia Bhomora. He was felicitated by Biswanath District Bartajeevi Sangha, Biswanath District Journalists' Union, Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad, Biswanath District NEIMSU, social worker Zameer Ahmed and others in a programme organized in front of Biswanath Chariali Sahitya Sabha Bhavan.
