Blood donation camp organized at THB College, Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A blood donation camp was organized on Sunday to commemorate the NCC Day at THB College, Jamugurihat by 5 Assam Bn. NCC. The blood donation camp was collaborated by NSS Unit of THB College and the programme was supported by National Human Rights & Crime Control Bureau, (NHRCCB) Sonitpur. A group of medical persons from Tezpur Medical College, Tumuki, Sonitpur collected a total 26 units of blood to preserve in their blood bank.

Before the mega camp, a cultural programme was organized to mark the NCC day where CTO Asssitant Professor Thengtom Bey was present as guest of honour. Dr. Tilak Sarmah former ANO of THB College inaugurated the blood donation camp. Dr. Akanshya Kaushik of Tezpur Medical College also delivered a valuable speech about the importance of blood donation for better health. Dr. Ajit Hazarika, principal of THB College offered vote of thanks to all participants for making the programee a successful one. Mrinmay Kr. Nath, Media Office (Hon.) of Sonitpur, Natural Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau was also present on the occasion.
