Blood donation to observe Dr. AJP Abdul Kalam's birthday in Hojai

HOJAI: In order to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President of India Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, volunteers of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Azad Memorial Trust, Hojai donated 20 units of blood at Haam Hospital in Hojai on Thursday. General secretary of the Trust, Abdul Ahad said, "Every year on this pious day we organize blood donation camp. Last year around 100 people had donated blood but this year, due to various reasons, we were unable to organize the camp. Therefore, we donated blood at the hospital."
