Bodies of passengers recovered on Sonari-Naharkatia Railway track

JOYSAGAR: Two bodies of passengers with major injuries were recovered from the Sonari-Naharkatia railway track on August 10. As per information, Sonari Police recovered the bodies after the local people informed them.

The deceased, both male, were passengers of the Awadh-Assam Express. Sources suspect that some miscreants might have looted both the passengers and fled away with their valuables. The deceased have been identified as Bitul Basumatary and Khani Gogoi.
