Bodo Books donated to Kolkata National Library for preservation

KOKRAJHAR: Khontai Bibar Group, an online poets' group with a good number of members and poets, on Tuesday donated some Bodo books to the National Library Kolkata for preservation. The books were handed over by the group administrator, Dipen Chandra Boro.
Jogeswar Das, Dibyandu Haldar, Sharata Kumar Mallick, Ayan Majumdar of National Library Kolkata received the books donated by Khontai Bibar Group. They thanked the group for donating the books which would be a treasure of literature of a small linguistic group for future generations. The books were handed over during the ongoing Assam Book Fair in Guwahati.
The Khontai Bibar group, an online portal for poets, has been very active for a couple of years and the poets share their creative writings in the group daily. There are many noted and new writers as well in the group. The group encourages the new writers and budding poets by giving prizes to best poets on various occasions.
