Bodoland People's Front to be ally of BJP in Assam: Hagrama Mohilary

TANGLA: Bodoland People's Front (BPF) supremo, Hagrama Mohilary on Monday asserted that his party is in talks with the BJP-led government in Dispur to be an ally and work together in the ruling dispensation. Mohilary addressing mediapersons at Rowta in Udalguri asserted that the talks are on its last legs and its 'almost final' just the formal declaration is awaited for the same.
Referring to the by-elections in the 5 constituencies he said, "BPF have projected Dhruba Kumar Brahma Narzary as candidate in Gossaigaon, in Bhawanipur we will back the BJP candidate and Kalaigaon MLA, Durga Das Boro and Mazbat MLA, Charan Boro will campaign for BJP in Bhawanipur. Kokrajhar West MLA, Rabiram Narzary will campaign for BPF in Gossaigaon while in Mariani and Thowra constituencies BPF will back the BJP candidates."
