Body of dead leopard found at Madhuting Tea Estate near Duliajan

Naharkatia: The body of a leopard was found at the Madhuting Tea Estate near the Duliajan oil township on Wednesday morning.

The body of the leopard was found between the areas of 39 and 40 sector area of the tea estate. The local tea workers first noticed the leopard lying dead. They informed the garden manager about the incident. Later, the garden manager informed the respective forest department and police about the leopard. The cause of the death of the leopard is not known. The forest officials have taken custody of the leopard’s body.
