Boko Circle Officer Pinki Dutta distributed essential food items in Kamrup district

Boko: Boko Circle Officer Pinki Dutta and her team on Wednesday distributed essential food items to the poor families in a remote village in Malang area under Boko Legislative Constituency in Kamrup district.

Circle Officer Pinki Dutta said that the distribution programme had been initiated by Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kumar Baishya towards poor families in border areas. She distributed food items among 270 Garo tribal families in the remote Malang village. Chaygaon MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed distributed masks, sanitizers, Phenyl bottles and medicines to the members of Boko Press Club and officer in-charge of Boko Police Station, Jogendra Barman. MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed also handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 for the welfare of Boko Press Club.
