Boko Police arrested eight dacoits from Rajapara village

Boko: Boko Police apprehended eight dacoits from Rajapara village under Boko Police Station on Wednesday night. Police also recovered one Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and one Maruti Suzuki WagonR, nine mobile handsets and some instruments which were used to break locks, from their possession. Boko PS Officer in-charge Jogendra Barman said that they got information about the group so he, along with his police team, apprehended them at Rajapara. But one of them managed to escape.

Boko Police have launched search operation for him. Barman also added that the gang was involved in car and bike thefts and robberies in many places across Assam, especially in Guwahati.
