Bollywood Actress Shruti Haasan To Celebrate Rongali Bihu In Guwahati

New Delhi: Indian actress and playback singer Shruti Hasan will be visiting Assam's Guwahati city next week to attend the major festival of Assam, Rongali Bihu which starts on 14 April.

According to reports, she will be accompanied by her boyfriend Shantanu Hazarika, who is from Assam, and by profession, he is a doodle artist and illustrator. He rose to fame for his amazing skills and ability in illustration.

The duo will be attending a Bihu event in Guwahati city.

The artist made headlines just a few days ago for 'BLCK' which is a solo show by him known for the iconic presentation of white and black pieces that disrupted and questioned the assumption of viewers.

It may be mentioned that Shruti Hasan is often spotted with her boyfriend on various occasions and dates in Mumbai and the pictures of the duo together are regularly seen on social media.

In January this year during the occasion of Shruti Hasan's birthday, the couple was seen walking hand-in-hand in after a date in Mumbai.

Hazarika also posted a romantic picture with Shruti on her birthday wishing her birthday with a black heart emoticon.

Hazarika has won several awards for his work including the Best Doodle Artist in the Doodle Art Competition held in 2014.

He also worked as the founder of the Gauhati Art Project (GAP) which is an initiative for urban arts with the prime objective of establishing an art community in the Northeastern region of India.

Hazarika was an engineering student but he left engineering opting for his studies for his career as an illustrator.

The artist has even worked with renowned hip-hop artists and independent rappers such as Divine and Raftar.

On the work front, the actress will be appearing in the upcoming movie 'Salaar' directed by Prashanth Neel starring Prabhas in the lead role. The film is scheduled to release on 14 April 2022.
