Bongaigaon police busts betting racket

BONGAIGAON: Online betting on cricket matches have increased rampantly in the Bongaigaon district. Bongaigaon district police on Sunday nabbed a total of four persons involved in betting. Talking to the media, Bongaigaon SP Swapnaneel Deka said that the nabbed persons have been identified as Krishna Mondol (42) of Nowapara Village, Akib Hussein (27) of Moukhowa Village, Debanan Pathak (21) and Gojen Ray (24) of Dumpara Village.
