Bonus for tea garden workers of Sivasagar before Durga Puja

SIVASAGAR: With a view to discuss the issue of ditribution of bonus to tea garden workers of the district of Sivasagar before the upcoming Durga Puja, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal.

The meeting was held with the representatives of various tea garden authorities and tea garden workers' associations of the district at the Syukafa Conference Hall of the DC's Office, Sivasagar. The meeting assured full cooperation of the district administration and the police department in ensuring smooth and peaceful completion of the bonus distribution process. Most of the tea gardens in the district have already declared bonus and some of the tea garden authorities have already completed the process of distribution. The meeting was also attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Arif Ahmed and Suddivisional Officer (Sadar) Dr. Mondira Baruah.
