Book Bigyan Taranga released in Dhakuakhana of Lakhimpur district
Bigyan Taranga, the latest book authored by teacher-cum-writer Pradip Kumar Dutta was released in Dhakuakhana of Lakhimpur district on Saturday.

LAKHIMPUR: Bigyan Taranga, the latest book authored by teacher-cum-writer Pradip Kumar Dutta was released in Dhakuakhana of Lakhimpur district on Saturday. On this occasion, a ceremonial programme was held in the auditorium of Pachim Dhakuakhana High School. The programme commenced with Pramod Dutta, a retired headmaster, in the chair. The book was released by Harhi College professor Dr. Jitu Kumar Chamuah, who is also the secretary of Dhakuakhana Sakha Xahitya Xabha.
"A book is equal to hundred faithful friends. All activities and functions of this globe are running with the blessings of the knowledge being hoarded in books.
Among them, the books on science are most important as we depend upon the scientific views to live our life free of problems", Dr. Chamuah said while releasing the book. Attending the programme, academicians Likhan Chandra Burhagohain, Cheniram Baruah, Rajani Baruah, Bhola Nath Gogoi, Pratima Chetia also delivered lecture. A host of leading citizens of Dhakuakhana was present in the programme.
