Book festival at Nagaon from January 20

NAGAON: Nagaon Ananda Ram Dhekial Phookon College in association with 'Book Nook Cafe', a leading prestigious book retailer of the town is going to organize a specific book festival with a three day long programme at Nagaon Swahid Bhavan from January 10 onwards.

Sahitya Akademi awardee litterateur and noted physician Dr Apurba Kr Saikia will ceremonially inaugurate the book festival in presence of local MLA Rupak Sarma, noted artiste and NRI as well as resident of France, Samiran Boruah, noted scientist and Assamese poet Dr Bipuljyoti Saikia, a release issued by Dr Surajit Kr Bhagawati, principal, ADP college said.
