Book on Dhekiajuli released

DHEKAIJULI: Dhekiajuli, a book which contains the history and socio-economic perspectives of Dhekiajuli, was released at a ceremonial function held at the LOKD College on Saturday.

The book has been composed under the guidance of Dr Hari Prasad Boruah, lecturer of LOKD College and a group of teachers of the college. The book release programme was attended by Idrish Ali, former vice-president of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Dr Sukdev Adhikari, Riajuddin Ansary, Principal and Vice-Principal of LOKD College, Dr Abani Kumar Bhagabati, lecturer of Gauhati University, Dr Ranjan Kalita, Principal of Rangapara College, Biswajit Bhuyan, president of Assam College Teachers Association and others. Participating in the book release programme, all the prominent speakers said that people should read great and good books in order to develop a positive mindset.
