Book Titled Mahiyashee Released at Conference Hall of Biswanath Chariali Municipal Board

Biswanath Chariali: “Poems can bring great changes to society. Therefore, poets have a big role to play in materializing these changes.” This was observed on Sunday by Narayan Konwar, Director, Department of Statistics, Government of Assam while releasing a book of poems titled Mahiyashee, composed by B Hazarika at a function held at the conference hall of Biswanath Chariali Municipal Board. The programme was presided over by veteran social worker Jiten Bhagawati. Dr. Ratna Kinkar Goswami, Associate Professor of Biswanath College of Agriculture, conducted the programme while Pabitra Ram Khaund, Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath, took part as the distinguished guest.
