Books shops allowed to open during lockdown in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia district administration, by an order on Monday, accorded permission to operate/open books shops/stalls during lockdown period under Tinsukia district between 9 am to 12 noon only on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday every week.

The order further stated that all protocol in connection with COVID-19 safety guidelines must be followed, adding that no passes would be issued to employees and vehicles of the book shops from the office of the administration, and proprietors of the book shops will issue cards to them. The order was issued in pursuance of the State Chief Secretary’s Memo No.ASDMA.20/2020/56-A of 21.4.2020.
