Border Security Force (BSF) under Guwahati Frontier seizes 30kg ganja at Rajarbari village

GUWAHATI: Troops of Border Security Force under Guwahati Frontier seized 30 kg ganja on Wednesday, from bordering areas of Rajarbari village under Coochbehar district of West Bengal.

Acting on a tip off, troops of BSF of Border Out Post (BOP) Tilak of 47 Bn BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a special operation in the general areas of Rajarbari village and seized 6 packets of ganja (total -30 kg) wrapped in a plastic. The consignment of ganja was to be smuggled from India to Bangladesh. The seized ganja was handed over to Sitalkuchi Police Station of Coochbehar district of West Bengal for further legal action, stated a press release.
