Assam: Borpam Village Defense Party Extends Helping Hand Amidst COVID Pandemic in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: As part of the fight against the COVID pandemic, the Village Defense Party (VDP), Borpam to the north of Sootea on Sunday distributed packets of essential commodities to those families of Sapekhati which are under home isolation.

A team of Borpam VPD under guidance of Arun Bordoloi, secretary of Borpam VDP, also carried out a sanitization drive in various public places of Borpam, including SBI service point, post office, sub-center and other business establishments, and distributed face masks to the poor and needy families.
