Boundary wall constructed of Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity
The concrete wall surrounding the entire boundary from east to north of the Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity (DSLSS,) premises was inaugurated by MP-Representative Mulendra Moran on Saturday in the absence of MP Pradan Baruah.

DOOMDOOMA: The concrete wall surrounding the entire boundary from east to north of the Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity (DSLSS,) premises was inaugurated by MP-Representative Mulendra Moran on Saturday in the absence of MP Pradan Baruah.
In the inaugural meeting chaired by the president of the DSLSS Indu Dutta Uzir, secretary Sangita Barua Deka explained the objectives of the meeting. Thereafter former president Kiranmoyee Hazarika Baruah gave an account of the correspondence taken up with the MP's Representative Mulendra Moran by her along with former secretary Deepa Dutta Bhajoni through active member Mrinali Bora Moran.
After inaugurating the concrete wall, MP's Representative Moran was felicitated in the meeting. The 300-feet-long concrete wall was constructed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh. The meeting also felicitated contractor Nipon Saikia along with Samiron Gogoi, secretary, BJP Doomdooma Mandal Committee.
In his inaugural address, Moran expressed satisfaction that a long-felt need of the DSLSS had been fulfilled. He hinted of a construction of Lekhika Samaroh's own auditorium as a self-sustaining measure for the future and advised to take the initiative for holding a public meeting on social malaises and development issues of the region as a leading social organisation to great excitement of all those present.
