BAKSA: Prominent Bodoland People's Front (BPF) leader Keshab Rajbangshi, who is sitting president of Tamulpur District BPF, on Friday submitted application seeking party ticket from No. 58 Tamulpur LAC for the forthcoming election.

Keshab Rajbangshi arrived at the Tamulpur District BPF office with his supporters and submitted his application in the hands of vice-president of Tamulpur District BPF, Jatin Sarkar and general secratary Upen Basumatary. After submitting the application, Keshab Rajbangshi told media persons, "From the very beginning of my political career I have been working for the BPF. So I expect that this year BPF will offer me the party ticket and help me become an MLA."

Talking to media persons, general secretary of Tamulpur District BPF, Upen Basumatary said, "Along with Kehab Rajbangshi, former MLA of Tamulpur, Chandi Basumatary, former MLA of Tamulpur, Derhagta Moshahary, BPF leader Rangja Khungur Basumatary, BPF leader Aditya Sinha and Rajen Boro have submitted their applications seeking party tickets. We will sent all the applications to the central committee of BPF and the central committee will take the final decision."
