BPF President Hagrama Mohilary joins Eid-ul-Fitr Namaz for peace in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The president of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) Hagrama Mohilary on Monday joined the Nanaz on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at Kokrajhar Jame Majid and prayed for peace and harmony among all section of people. Former EM of BTC Doneswar Goyary also accompanied the Namaz.

Talking to Newsmen, Mohilary said he used to take part in the Namaz on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr every year and this year too, he joined the Namaz for peace by maintaining social distancing and lockdown norms. He said as per lockdown guidelines, five persons prayed in Kokrajhar Jame Majid by maintaining social distancing. He wished peace and brotherhood among all sections of people in the region and hoped the people of the region will be saved from deadly Corona Virus.

Mohilary said the BPF had been giving emphasis on peace and integrity among different sections of people and hoped that people of the region will follow the guidelines of lockdown in general life and come forward to fight against deadly pandemic together.
