BPF will get absolute majority in BTC polls, claims Hagrama Mohilary

GORESWAR: In a mass gathering organized by Goreswar Block BPF committee at Bengnahati community hall on Sunday in Baksa district, BPF supremo and BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary asserted that the BPF party would get absolute majority in the ensuing BTC election and would form the BTC government for the fourth time.

Mohilary said that all total 11 development councils would be formed for the all-round development of Adivasis, Bodos, Gorkhas, Rajbongshis, Bengalis and other communities under the jurisdiction of BTC council. He also assured to provincialize the venture schools and to introduce many new schemes for the villagers.

Hundreds of members from different political parties and organizations joined the BPF in the mass gathering and they were welcomed with traditional phulam gamosa. A strong election steering committee was also formed in the mass gathering event.

Senior party leader Biswajit Daimary, who was present in the mass gathering as chief guest, said that the BPF would come again to the power in the BTC led by Hagrama Mohilary. He said that BPF would win with absolute majority. He said that the prospect of the BPF was far better now than it was before as every community was supporting the party.

Maheswar Basumatary, who was EM of BTC for two terms, got ticket in Goreswar BTC constituency again from the BPF party. He said that his victory from Goreswar constituency was almost certain.
