DIBRUGARH: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, awarded the prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (second prize) to Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) for the implementation of official language under public sector undertakings in Region ‘C’ for the years 2022–23. The award was presented to BCPL Chairman Sandeep Kumar Gupta by Union Minister of State for Home Ajoy Kumar Mishra on September 14 during the Hindi Diwas celebration organized in Pune. Asit Das, General Manager (HR), and Ranjan Kalita, Superintendent (Hindi), BCPL, were also present in the award distribution ceremony.
The Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar is the highest award given by the Government of India in the field of official language implementation. Hindi Diwas Samaroh 2023 and the Third Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan were organized at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune (Maharashtra) on September 14 and September 15.
