Breaking: 4.1 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Sonitpur, Assam

TEZPUR:

Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale jolts Sonitpur in Assam at 2:23 PM today, National Center for Seismology said. No damage or casualty has been reported so far. 

Mild tremors were also felt in Guwahati. Sonitpur has been experiencing shocks since the big tremor measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale that shook up most parts of Guwahati at around 7.52 AM on 28/04/2021. The epicentre was Sonitpur. 

Further, EQ Parameters: M: 4.1 with a Latitude of 26.69 N, Long: 92.39 E, and Depth of 16 Km.
