Brutal murder created sensation in Margherita sub-division in Tinsukia district

JAGUN: A brutal murder created sensation in Margherita sub-division in Tinsukia district. A youth, identified as Deepak Theruwa (25), was allegedly brutally murdered by Prakash Kashor at no. 3 Udaipur village under Lekhapani Police Station on Sunday evening. According to source, Prakash Kashor and his wife had a heated argument over some trifle issue in the evening. They also had a physical fight. Deepak Theruwa rushed inside the house and tried to save his sister from Prakash. Then Prakash, in a fit of rage, allegedly attacked Deepak with a sharp weapon and killed him. Prakash then escaped under the cover of darkness. A team of Lekhapani Police rushed to the spot and investigation is on. Deepak's body was sent for post-mortem to Tinsukia.
