BSF Guwahati Frontier distributes food items to needy villagers on the border belt

GUWAHATI: Ever since the lockdown was announced to break the chain of deadly coronavirus for the well being of India citizen by the Prime Minister and implemented across the country, Guwahati Frontier BSF has been endeavouring to reach out to needy people in its area.

The Border Security Force Guwahati Frontier is not only engaged in manning the Indo-Bangladesh Border but also extending all possible help to the needy villagers on the border belt as well as vicinity of Frontier HQ BSF Patgaon Guwahati.

On Friday, Border Security Force Guwahati Frontier helped in distribution of food items to the population hit by the lockdown imposed because of coronavirus spread in the country. Seema Praharies of Guwahati frontier BSF distributed food items to the needy people of Palashbari village under Kamrup district.

The people were made to stand in a queue within neatly drawn circles that ensured proper distance from one another. Also, they were constantly urged to maintain social distancing. People of Palashbari lauded the BSF for providing timely help to people during hour of crisis.

Seema Praharies of Guwahati Frontier, Border Security Force apart from managing Indo-Bangladesh International border, also assists border population in emergency like pandemic, disaster response as well as providing medical assistance, stated a press release.
