BSF seizes Yaba tablets worth Rs 1.7 crore on Kalain-Katigorah Road
A huge consignment of contraband substances was seized from a private car near Hilara railway crossing on Kalain-Katigorah Road on Tuesday wee hours by the BSF.

SILCHAR: A huge consignment of contraband substances was seized from a private car near Hilara railway crossing on Kalain-Katigorah Road on Tuesday wee hours by the BSF. The mission was jointly carried out by the BSF M&C Frontier and Karimganj Customs Department. The team seized 17 thousand Yaba tablets from a car which was heading towards Meghalaya. Driver of the vehicle was apprehended by the operation team. Market value of Yaba tablets estimated to be around Rs 1.7 crore which was handed over to the Karimganj Customs Department by the BSF.
