BTC CEM Pramod Boro inaugurates extension of Kokrajhar Press Club

KOKRAJHAR: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Pramod Boro, along with Executive Member of Information and Public Relations Dr. Nilut Swargiary on Wednesday inaugurated the extension, renovation and furnishing of Kokrajhar Press Club hall constructed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh under SOPD-G fund for the year 2021-22 of Kokrajhar Development Block, Titaguri.

As per estimate, renovation and furnishing had been done in the existing conference hall, three rooms and other facilities, besides constructing one multi-purpose hall at top floor. BTC CEM Pramod Boro and EM Dr. Nilut Swargiary inspected the Press Club building and expressed their satisfaction over the quality of works. CEM Boro further assured of providing more financial assistance for immediate completion of rest facilities like installation of AC, WiFi, construction of subway and essential furniture.

Ansuma Mahilary, Regional Officer and BTR Council Head of Information and Public Relations department, Gagan Narzary, District Information and Public Relations Officer of Kokrajhar, Sameswar Basumatary, Public Relation Officer of BTR, Assistant Executive Engineer of Kokrajhar Development Block and office bearers of Kokrajhar Press Club were present on the occasion.
