KOKRAJHAR: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC Pramod Boro on Tuesday attended the virtual foundation stone laying ceremony of 100-bedded boys and girls hostels across BTR, under the Dharti Aba Janajatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, as part of the nationwide celebrations marking the successful completion of five years of the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020. Boro joined the programme at Deulkuchi Higher Secondary School in Tamulpur on Tuesday. Along with the principal, teachers, and students of the school, Boro virtually joined the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samaroh, 2025 virtually, which was held in New Delhi, led by the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan. On this momentous occasion, he extended his heartiest congratulations to teachers, students, and educational fraternity. He said that the NEP, 2020, under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had brought transformative reforms to the education sector and continued to shape the future of BTR, Assam, and the entire nation.
