BTC constitutes helpline team for people stranded in other cities

KOKRAJHAR: To extend help to the stranded people of BTC region working or studying in different cities and places of India during the nationwide lock down, the BTC authority has constituted a Helpline Team stationed at BTC Secretariat to help and guide the persons or students.

In a letter, Principal Secretary of BTC, Robinson Mashahary said that 13 officers had been entrusted to help the stranded persons or students. The officers are Dinesh Boro, Joint Secretary as Overall Coordinator (94350-11540), Anitya Kr. Brahma, Deputy Secretary, as assistant coordinator (94350-26641), Binod Basuamtary, Under Secretary (94351-27160), Sameswar Basumatary, PRO (94357-02474), Diganta Brahma Choudhury, PRO, BTCLA (99540-39889), Dhananjay Daimary, Liaison Officer, Bodoland Guest House, Guwahati (99571-84522), Rita Brahma, Liaison Officer, Bodoland Guest House, Kokrajhar (99541-27366), Larlie Brahma, Liaison Officer, Bodoland Bhavan, Dwarka, New Delhi (95996-71179), Deepak Dev, Liaison Officer, Bodoland House, Rajarhat New Town, Kolkata (00572-63341), Uraidao Brahma, Bodoland Guest House, Siliguri, West Bengal (98803-70978), Niranjan Mashahary, Liaison Officer, Bodoland Guest House, Purasawalkam, Chennai (95660-23491), Manaj Kumar, Liaison Officer, Bodoland House, Kailash Colony, New Delhi (98681-59579) and Swrwmsha Boro, Senior Assistant and Nazir, BTC (98547-75375).

The Principal Secretary has directed the officers entrusted with the contact numbers to make necessary arrangement to help and guide the people who are stranded in various cities of India and to try to solve their problems in consultation with the Helpline Control Rooms of the Government of Assam. He also said the officers would contact the respective Deputy Commissioners of BTC area and inform accordingly so as to bring those people to be kept in quarantine.
