UDALGURI: Gobinda Chandra Basumatari, the deputy chief of BTC, visited schools in Udalguri and reviewed the infrastructural requirements. He visited Harisinga H S School, the oldest school in the region.
The school was established in 1931. Gobinda Chandra Basumatari had also studied in this school. Talking to the Principal Swarna Basumatari, Vice-Principal Krishna Kanta Mizar and other school staff, he said that the State Government was planning to develop the old schools in the region. He reviewed the infrastructural needs of the school. The school authority welcomed his move towards the development of the school.
