BTC PRO and Kokrajhar OC test COVID-19 positive

KOKRAJHAR: The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of BTC Sameswar Basumatary, his wife and a daughter on Monday tested COVID-19 positive. Besides, the OC of Kokrajhar Police Station Binanda Basumatary has also tested positive on the same day.

Earlier, two ADCs of Kokrajhar-Bhaskar Das and Debajit Bora have tested positive while District Project Manager of NHM, Kokrajhar Uttam Kr. Brahma has also tested positive and presently in isolation ward of Kokrajhar RN Brahma Civil Hospital.

Meanwhile, the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for school teachers is going on in full swing. Till the time of filling of this report, there had been detection of 34 COVID-19 positive cases including some teachers in Kokrajhar district.
