BTC to fill up 3,000 vacant Grade III and Grade IV posts

KOKRAJHAR: The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL)-BJP-GSP alliance government in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) was looking for fresh recruitment to fill up the vacancies in grade IV and grade III posts in various departments within a short span of time.

Addressing media persons on Wednesday at a press conference held at the BTC CEM's conference hall in Kokrajhar, BTC Executive Member Dr Nilut Swargiary and BTC MCLA Madhab Chetry informed that nearly 3,000 posts of grade-IV and grade-III in various departments of BTR would be filled up within a short period through the conduct of interview for recruitment. The recruitment would be conducted by the Central Recruitment Board (CRB), earlier known as Central Selection Board (CSB) of BTC. They hailed Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the State Government for conducting written examination for grade-IV and grade-III posts across the districts of the State and accordingly the first written examination was held on August 21 and the second examination would be conducted on August 28. They said that the written examination was conducted in a peaceful manner with strict surveillance.

They informed that there were over 3,000 posts in several departments in BTR were lying vacant since long and the government had decided to conduct interviews for recruitment for grade-IV and grade III posts in the BTR region. They also said that the BTC government had given over 3,000 appointments till date in various departments since coming to power in the council.

Dr Swargiary said the BTC government had taken up various welfare schemes for bringing massive development among the all sections of people in the region.
