Bye-election observer by ECI arrives in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Gopal Meena, a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service of the year 2007, appointed as the Election Observer by the Election Commission of India (ECI), has arrived at Sivasagar to monitor the work of the bye-election of the 107 Thowra Legislative Assembly Constituency. On his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Sivasagar district administration.

The election observer requested the public to contact him at his mobile number 9395746475, if they observe any incident of violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Besides, he also said that people may meet him to inform any incidents of violation of MCC at the Circuit House, Sivasagar from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
