Caesarean Section Delivery Starts In Sarupathar CHC

GOLAGHAT: C-Section deliveries started from Friday at Sarupathar CHC.

The ceremonial opening of the service was done by MLA, Sarupathar LAC, BiswajitPhukan, in presence of the Joint Director of Health Services, Golaghat, Dr. Arun Chandra Mahanta, Superintendent, SwahidKushalKonwar Civil Hospital, Dr. Uttam Prasad Dutta, Circle Officer, HemangaNobis, and other dignitaries.

The medical team on Friday successfully carried out two C-Section deliveries. One of the delivery was assisted by the Joint Director of Health Services NHM programme, Dr. Arun Chandra Mahanta and the Superintendent, SKKCH, Dr. Uttam Prasad Dutta.

Gynaecologists DrShivaniVaidya and Dr Kafiluddin Ahmed carried out both the deliveries along with the other team members.The opening of the C-Section service at Sarupathar CHC has received support from Numaligarh Refinery Limited under their Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
