A career counselling session was conducted in NERIM Challenge Academy, Mangaldai for the institute’s Higher Secondary students
MANGALDAI: A career counselling session was conducted in NERIM Challenge Academy, Mangaldai for the institute's Higher Secondary students on Tuesday under National Career Service by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India in collaboration with the Model Career Centre, District Employment Exchange, Mangaldai, Darrang. The interaction was headed by Nazibul Islam, career counsellor in presence of Prafulla Choudhury, Employment Officer, District Employment Exchange, Dr. Kerdalin Kharkrang, Principal, NERIM Challenge Academy and the teaching and non- teaching staff of NERIM Challenge Academy, Mangaldai.
The session was designed to provide young students with an in-depth understanding of how to plan their careers. The discussion was not just limited to academic planning but emphasis was put on the overall personality development of the students and to ensure they can compete at the national and international level consistently. The students were also registered in the National Career Service Portal for future employment opportunities, stated a press release.
