CEM Debolal Gorlosa inaugurates slew of development projects

HAFLONG: Chief Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa inaugurated a slew of developmental schemes in and around Umrangso on Tuesday.

Among the development projects which were inaugurated were — construction of Paver Block Road from Gobinda Nagar to Kukrilangso village under PMKKKY for the year 2020-2021; Umrang Nala Water Supply Project under PMKKKY 2021-2022; construction of footpath at Umrangso town; construction of Shiv Mandir at Umrangso under MAC constituency wise 2020-2021; Concrete Block Pavement at Umrangso Market; Durga Mandir at Umrangso Bazar; Water Tank at Karbi Club; Construction of Paver Block Road from Voraklangso to Kamala Nagar LP School, under PMKKKY 2020-2021; Construction of Paver Road from Tumbung Mandir to PHE Pump House Umrangso, under PMKKKY 2020-2021; Tourist Rest House at Umrangso and boat services at Umrangso.

CEM Gorlosa said that sustainable development was the pathway to the future. It offers a framework to generate economic growth, achieve social justice, exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance, he said.
