Centenary awareness camp of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Biswanath concludes

BISWANATH CHARIALI: The three-day long centenary awareness camp organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Biswanath district, concluded today with a procession starting from Kamalakant Kshetra. According to information, RSS, Biswanath district, held the centenary awareness camp on the completion of 100 years on December 27, 28, and 29 at Shankardev Shishu - Vidya Niketan located in Biswanath Chariali.

On the last day of the 100th anniversary of RSS, a procession was taken out which moved through the town. Before the procession, Amrit Vani and songs were presented by the volunteers in Kamalakanta Kshetra along with Dhwajpranam. 

North Assam Co-Provincial Promoter Dilip Arjel, while addressing the volunteers, said that though the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh had completed its 100th year, many of the works and dimensions had to be expanded to the villages. They had to create volunteers in every village for the service of Mother India, he added. Apart from this, he threw light on various aspects of the organisation. In the inaugural session on the first day, RSS dignitary Satyavrat Baruah delivered a pithy lecture on the historical background of the Sangh along with Indian wisdom, tradition, and heritage.

During this three-day Shatabdi Chetna Shivir, North Assam Co-Provincial Promoter Dilip Arjel, District Sangh Director Gopal Borah, District Karyavah Anil Baruah, District Management Chief Chhatar Singh Pawar, District Co-Intellectual Chief Dinakanta Das, District Intellectual Chief Dipankar Devnath, District Physical Chief Rudra Sonari, along with about six hundred volunteers, were present.
