Certificates under Mission Bhumiputra distributed in Sivasagar

A special initiative has been taken to issue caste certificates to facilitate admission of students and other allied educational and career issues under Mission Bhumiputra of the Government of Assam.

SIVASAGAR: A special initiative has been taken to issue caste certificates to facilitate admission of students and other allied educational and career issues under Mission Bhumiputra of the Government of Assam. For this purpose, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav distributed caste certificates to the students at Betbari Higher Secondary School in presence of Inspector of Schools Kamaljyoti Gogoi recently.

Similarly, District Development Commissioner Subhan Gowala distributed the certificates at Banmukh Higher Secondary School. During the certificate distribution ceremony, Additional Deputy Commissioners of the district, sub-divisional magistrates of Nazira sub-division, circle officers, attached circle officers, assistant commissioners, election officer, block development officers also distributed caste certificates in the schools designated to them.

A total of 4,429 caste certificate applications were received and out of these 4215 certificates were approved. Certificates were distributed to 20 schools by the executive magistrates of the district and the remaining certificates were submitted to the inspector of schools, so that through him the certificates could be handed over to the headmasters of the school.
