Chairman of Assam Gas Company Bolin Chetia distributed power tillers

TINSUKIA: Bolin Chetia, MLA of Sadiya and also chairman of Assam Gas Company, distributed power tillers under the Department of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes to 124 beneficiaries of Sadiya subdivision at Chapakhowa on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering of leading citizens of Sadiya and agricultural farmers, Chetia said that power tiller helped to change the wealth of farmers and as it had multiple uses and advantages. It facilitated in preparing the soil, sowing seeds, planting seeds, adding and spraying fertilizers. Shymal Kshetra Gogoi, SDO(C), Jogobala Buragohain and Diganta Borgohain were present among others.
