Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to grace grand finale of 1st Bodoland CEM Cup

KOKRAJHAR: The stage is set for the grand finale and vibrant closing ceremony of the first-ever Bodoland CEM Cup, 2025, to be held on July 15 at the SAI Stadium, Kokrajhar. The highlight of the event will be the presence of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, who will attend the final match as the chief guest, acknowledging BTC’s strong commitment to grassroots sports and youth development.

Organized by the BTR Government under the leadership of CEM Pramod Boro, the Bodoland CEM Cup 2025 has grown into one of the largest grassroots football tournaments in the country. The tournament began at the Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) level on June 14 in Udalguri, with participation from all 420 VCDCs across the five districts of BTR, Kokrajhar, Baksa, Chirang, Udalguri, and Tamulpur.
