Child molested, FIR lodged at Jamuguri Police Station

JAMUGURIHAT: Sensation prevailed at Jamugurihat after a case of child molestation came to light. One Shahidul Islam, a resident of Nonley Gotaimari under Jamuguri police station allegedly sexually exploited an eight-year-old girl on Saturday. According to information, the girl child was heading towards a village shop to buy some necessary commodities while she was taken to a nearby jungle and sexually exploited by Shahidul Islam. When the girl child made hue and cry, then the miscreant left the place leaving the child aside. On reaching home, she narrated the whole story to her parents and relatives. The father of the child lodged an FIR at Jamuguri Police Station and demanded exemplary punishment.
