Chirang DC Narendra Kumar Shah pays sudden visit to JSB Civil Hospital

BONGAIGAON/KOKRAJHAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Chirang, Narendra Kumar Shah on Thursday morning paid a sudden visit to Jwhwlao Swmbla Basumatary (JSB) Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon to check how it is functioning. He inspected the ICU being constructed at the hospital premises along with the oxygen plant already installed there and took stock of the progress of work and functioning respectively.

Deputy Commissioner Sha then visited all the wards of the hospital and interacted with the doctors, staff and patients on the shortcomings noticed by him regarding smooth maintenance of the hospital. He directed the district health authorities to immediately address all the issues and make the same hospital a patient-friendly hospital by improving the quality of service. He also urged them to complete the remaining construction work of ICU within a short time. Additional Deputy Commissioner (health) Khanindra Das accompanied the Deputy Commissioner Sha during his visit to JSB Civil hospital.
