Chirang district administration organized run for vote awareness program
A run for vote awareness program was organized by the Chirang district administration at Kajalgaon on Sunday.

KOKRAJHAR: A run for vote awareness program was organized by the Chirang district administration at Kajalgaon on Sunday. The run for vote was flagged off by Wahidul Islam, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Chirang, in the presence of Jashnabati Mahilary, in-charge District Sports Officer, Chirang, and other officials of the sports department.
Addressing the participants, Wahidul Islam spoke in details about the process of inclusion, correction, deletion of names in the voters' list, transposition of names from one polling station to another in the same constituency, including the final voter list to be published on January 5, 2022.
Besides, a massive awareness drive through mobile miking across the district is also being carried out by the district administration after the publication of integrated draft photo electoral rolls on November 1, 2021. More than hundred participants from different schools, colleges and sports clubs of the district participated in the programme.
